London & Logan’s engagement session in Central Park felt like a full-circle moment in the most beautiful way. I first photographed them years ago in San Francisco when they were dating, so documenting this season of their life in New York City felt layered with history and meaning. The park was in peak fall - golden leaves underfoot, soft light filtering through the trees, and that crisp October air that makes everything feel romantic without trying too hard.
We started wandering through Central Park, letting the movement guide us instead of stiff poses. From there, we did what any real New Yorkers would do - we hopped on the subway and let the city become part of the story. The train ride, the platforms, the in-between moments felt just as important as the portraits. We ended the night at an underground bar in Midtown, tucked below street level, where cocktails and low light shifted the mood from soft and romantic to cinematic and intimate.
This NYC engagement session blended elegance with spontaneity - park strolls, subway rides, and late-night cocktails - a reflection of their relationship that felt effortless and entirely their own.
